Hi Cameron!

Wow, 12+ years of OAS sharing, quite a feat!

I know that since ~October, November 2020, OnlyTease switched the IDs on set images to 5 letter codes, and you started adding your own numbers. Loads of sites and people rely on your numbers to track OAS sets since.

However, in the meantime OT sets have been given a new numbering system (someone on the ViperGirls forums called it a gallery number). It is possible to find some of those numbers, like when you look at the image urls on OAS free hosted galleries. There has been some confusion brewing over there about what numbers are what. E.g. this Paya set was posted there twice, once with the OT number (32355) and again with your set number (24248), reshared to RapidGator.


Do you have any plans to switch to the 'official' numbers at some point? It would help keep confusion down and make it easier to track sets.

itsfuhfen, onlyallsites stopped add numbers of sets last 2 years.
this numbers what you tell its number of items in OAS sites system.

In the old days you could get the OT ID number from the thumbnails. Now they have put off that ... even for the old sets, I think.

The gallery number ALWAYS has been there. But everybody used the ID number that went with the download. Now they have re-numbered all set for the gallery number.

To get that, you have to click in "view full set", and the gallery number shows like this:

You do NOT have to be a member to be able to do that.

Big trouble is: I will NOT re-number ALL the old sets (they did !!)

Sounds like a primary key -> unique number -> perfect set number to me!

I've understood that those exact numbers are what is listed on the zip files when a member downloads a set. The numbers are also consistent; any of the sets posted on VG with such a number, that also appears as a promotion gallery on oascash.com, has the exact same number.

An example:

The Daisy Rose 2021-08-11 set you numbered #22641 was reposted with OT number #30629 on VG. The same set is available as a free-hosted (promo) gallery. Each of the images on the gallery starts with "ot-30629-", matching whatever the VG poster saw on the zip file they got from OT.

The set is a repost, from 2021; if the number is merely the total number of sets across all sites it would have incremented by now.

I'm not sure then, why are those numbers not good set numbers?

No, the old set numbers are there, up until ~October 2020 (the change was gradual). There are a few older sets that have a 5-letter code in the image path, usually because the number was a duplicate. Rae's 15937 set is one such example; the 2016-11-03 photoset has a 5 letter code, the 2016-12-26 video, which has the exact same set number, shows the set number.

Thanks, that's really helpful information! "view full set" doesn't work unless you have an account, I assume. I'll register a free account now!

Nope, I wouldn't ask that either! I'm just wondering if Cameron might consider switching to Gallery numbers rather than generate their own numbers for sets in the future.

I now have a complete mapping between gallery ids and ids created by Cameron.

I noticed the following 5 videos and photosets have never been posted here and so don't have a Cameron set ID. I'm only reporting these because Cameron's efforts have been amazing and are otherwise incredibly complete, I would not personally download these. Entries link to the members-only OT set description:
